What support is available?

Our ALS team provide a range of resources and support to help you succeed academically and personally. Here’s how we can help:

Personalised Learning Support

If you have learning needs such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism, or any other specific requirement, we offer tailored assistance, including:

  • One-to-one support inside and outside the classroom.
  • Workshops and small group sessions to develop skills.
  • Extra time and specific arrangements for exams.

Just mention your needs during your application or in discussions with your future tutor, and we’ll be ready to guide you on your remarkable learning journey!

Physical Disability Support

For students with physical disabilities or visual/hearing impairments, our expert team will ensure you have access to everything you need to achieve your goals. This could include specialist equipment, accessible resources, and adapted facilities. Your confidentiality is always our priority—we only share information with relevant professionals to help meet your needs.

Need a quiet space to focus or extra help with assignments? The ALS Study Zone is your dedicated, calm environment for:

  • Assignment guidance and revision techniques.
  • Daily informal support from our friendly staff.
  • Access to laptops and other resources tailored for your studies.

Whether you’re preparing for exams or polishing up an essay, this space is designed for your success.

Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP)

  • Transition visits to help you settle in.
