Prior to GCSE Results Day, we’ll send you all the information you will need to need for your time enrolling at College in the post.Â
This will include a next of kin form and an enrolment booklet with all the relevant information ahead of enrolling with us including information on Additional Learning Support, bursaries and travel options to college.
There will also be the instructions on how to fast track your enrolment by booking a slot that you will be able to come in for. This can be done via the application portal. Log into the portal using the same details for your application and click on the option to fast track your enrolment to allow you to choose what time suits you best and to cut down your wait.
What to bring:
Enrolment will take place on GCSE Results Day – Thursday 20th August 2026.
You will be given the opportunity to fast track your enrolment and book an enrolment slot via the application portal.
If you can’t make your appointment time, then come in when possible.
Our Enrolment process takes around an hour, although during busy periods (typically 10:00 – 14:00) it can take longer. You can reduce the time it takes to enrol by booking an enrolment slot on the application portal. Head to https://portal.mis.nelsongroup.ac.uk/, log in with the email address that you applied with and click the “fast track your enrolment” button. From there you can check all your information is correct and up to date, upload any results/ exam certificates and pick an time slot when you are planning to come in*.
*You will not be restricted to this time slot.

Don’t worry if you do not achieve the results you need for your chosen course. We will provide you with advice and guidance on Enrolment Day and help you to find an appropriate alternative course.
Changing your mind is not a problem. Just contact our Admissions Team by phoning 01282 440272 or emailing admissions@eastlancslearning.ac.uk. Alternatively you can change your course when you attend your enrolment appointment.
If you need to re-sit your Maths and English to improve your grades, don’t worry! One of our friendly tutors will provide appropriate advice and guidance on this when you enrol. Here at NCC, you are more than twice as likely to get a Grade 4 or above in English or Maths than you would at the average FE College.

Rest assured that our team will do everything they can to help you secure employment, but if this cannot happen before September, we are pleased to be able to offer you a place on a suitable College course to support you in reaching your career goals. If you have already secured an apprenticeship vacancy with an employer, that’s great news! Please let the Admissions Team know on the details below and we will update our records.

Don’t worry if you haven’t applied to college yet or submitted your application late, still head down to college on enrolment day and we will get you enrolled onto the right course for you.
We have an extensive financial support package for our full-time 16-18 year-old students. Support packages are tailored to meet individual needs, to help you throughout your time at College. If you have a learning difficulty or disability and need some extra support with your studies or access arrangements, you may be eligible for Additional Learning Support. If you have not already notified the College, or included details on your application form, please contact the Learning Support Team by emailing als.ncc@eastlancslearning.ac.uk. Our Learning Support Team will be available on enrolment day to discuss your support needs.
We offer a wide range of direct bus services to ensure you can get to College easily and flexibly. FREE* or heavily subsidised bus travel is available for all our 16-18-year-old students and our Transdev bus passes include unlimited weekend and evening travel. Students are also encouraged to cycle to College where possible. You will get your timetable on your first day in September. On the day of enrolment, you will be given all the information you will need to know on where to go on your first day.
