Yes! Absolutely!
T Levels give employers the opportunity to get to know a learner, give them a project to work on and integrate them into their company. Lots of our learners have been offered positions within the company that they undertook their placement, proof that employers really value these learners and the skills they acquire on their T Level Programme.
Meet Alfie – A perfect example of how employers value T Levels and the learners that study them. Alfie has studied T Level Design, Development and Production and undertook his Industry Placement at Magn8.
Alfie’s work placement experiences, alongside his college studies truly prepared him to make a huge impact in his industry. Not only is he putting the skills he learns in the classroom to use on placement, he was also able to test these out further through his involvement in the Lancashire Colleges Skills Competition, where he was awarded the Rising Star Award.
Focussed on making a real impact in his industry Alfie is progressing to a career at Magn8, the employer where he undertook his placement hours, and has already built-up substantial knowledge of the organisation. He will be a great addition to the team.
One of the best things about T Levels is how flexible they are, setting you up for a variety of paths. Here’s what you can do after completing your T Level:
Thanks to your industry placement, you’ll leave with work-ready skills AND real-world experience. Employers love seeing candidates who are not only qualified but also know their way around the workplace.
If you want to earn while you continue learning, an apprenticeship could be the perfect option for you. With T Levels providing the same solid foundations as apprenticeships, you’ll already have a competitive edge when applying.
Did you know T Levels are worth UCAS points just like A levels? You can study degrees ranging from business to engineering to creative arts, depending on your T Level specialism. And with universities becoming increasingly familiar with the qualification, your options are growing every year.
