Course Overview

Are you interested in finding out what it is like to work as a civil engineer? The Future Civil Engineers School Club is an exciting six-week programme for Year 10 and Year 11 students, designed to give you a hands-on introduction to the civil engineering industry. You will explore how engineers help design and build the infrastructure we use every day, while developing practical and digital skills through engaging activities. From modern surveying technology to digital design and engineering projects, this programme is designed to inspire you to consider a future career in civil engineering.

Course Overview

During the programme, you will explore construction, infrastructure and engineering design while developing practical skills used by civil engineers. You will have the opportunity to use modern surveying technology, develop digital design skills using REVIT software and take part in hands-on engineering activities. You will also gain an insight into how civil engineers solve problems, plan projects and turn designs into real-world infrastructure, helping you understand the skills and knowledge needed for further study and a career in engineering.
