Course Overview

The Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship provides you with a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills, and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors — from the public sector and private companies to charities and not-for-profit organisations. Business administrators play a vital role in supporting and improving processes, ensuring efficiency, and delivering excellent service across their organisation.

Throughout the programme, you will work both independently and as part of a team, developing the ability to implement, maintain, and improve administrative services. You will build confidence in using technology, managing projects, producing accurate documentation, and communicating effectively at all levels.

This apprenticeship is well-suited to those who can demonstrate initiative, manage priorities and time effectively, and show problem-solving and decision-making skills. It is also ideal for those who want to take on mentoring or coaching responsibilities as they progress in their career.

How is the course delivered?

The apprenticeship is delivered through a mix of on-the-job training in the workplace and off-the-job training at college. At work, you will gain experience handling real administrative tasks, from organising projects to supporting colleagues and managing information.

At college, you will take part in structured training sessions focused on building business knowledge, digital skills, and professional behaviours. You will be supported by experienced Trainer Assessors who provide one-to-one guidance, workplace visits, and regular reviews, ensuring your learning is applied effectively in practice.
