A Level 2 qualification is equivalent to GCSE Grades 4-9 and you will be expected to have achieved at least 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above to enrol on to one of these programmes.

Course Overview
This Apprenticeship is focused on delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements set by government for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Apprentices will be responsible for supporting child initiated and adult led activities based around the needs and interests of each individual child, supporting children’s learning through planned, purposeful play opportunities and educational programmes, as well as working as part of a team to ensure each child feels safe and secure.

This apprenticeship is to build upon existing knowledge and skills in the Early Years provision designed for staff to progress into leadership roles like room leaders, deputy managers, or SENCOs.
